Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Lovely cafe/bar that we came across on Google maps when searching for somewhere to get a coffee and lunch! There's no sign for it from the road, and the entrance is a bit earlier than Google maps would have you believe, but it's worth searching out. The coffee (espresso) was great (a solid 9 out of 10 as you can see from the picture)! Food was lovely (we had a sandwich and a bagel), and the coleslaw was some of the best! The outside area is also stunning, especially on a sunny day. They also have chickens! Also very dog friendly."
"Great Belgium cycling themed cafe. Good coffee, excellent home made cakes and a bacon sandwich to die for. Its hard to find the entrance best plan is look for the overhead pylon wires which pass near the entrance"
"It's a bit of a cyclist cafe and music venue in one. Cycling memorabilia adorns the walls whilst a stage sits at the end of the room. We called in yesterday for coffee and cake during a Sunday ride from Northampton and enjoyed their warm hospitality. There's plenty of seating indoors, and I suspect they have room for outdoor seating in the warmer months. Food and drinks were enjoyable and brought to our table without hesitation. Bike parking is provided, and I'm told that the toilet facilities are excellent."
"Stopped here for coffee and a cake mid-ride on a Saturday morning. The coffee was great, the banana bread was delicious and came in a big slice, perfect for a refuelling stop! Loads of storage for bikes as well as a car park. Big indoor and outdoor seating areas. Plenty of drink options including a lot of Belgian beer (as you'd expect given the name!) I didn't have any hot food this time round but there were a few breakfast options and a lunch menu."
" We absolutely love Café Belge as a cycling destination with our club, Pineham Vélo! We held our annual summer get-together here last Saturday and it was spot on – great vibe, amazing staff, and such a perfect setting. A couple of us even camped overnight which made it extra special. The team here couldn’t be more welcoming, and we’ve already booked in for next year! It’s also a regular stop for us throughout the year – highly recommended! ⭐"
"We wanted to go somewhere different for a light meal and we found it! We were made to feel welcome and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had two paninis and they were the best we have had. Much better than a Sunday Roast!! There was a 60th Birthday Party going on which did not delay our food delivery or impact on the ambiance of the Cafe. We would recommend and will return ourselves without doubt."
"Super friendly modern cafe bar, but no signage by the roadside. Look for the gates and drive in. Fantastic food produced on the premises with love and care. Highly recommended, enjoy..!!"
"Stopped off for a pit stop on a ride, a hidden gem, great coffee and great cake. Lovely shaded tables and a very relaxed atmosphere."
